A Quiet Cherry Blossom Walk from Fushimi Inari
Along the canal to Sumizome Station

After visiting Fushimi Inari Taisha, step away from the crowds and continue on a quieter path. This walking route follows the canal south toward Sumizome Station.

Starting near JR Inari Station, the path leads along the Lake Biwa Canal, then passes Fujinomori Shrine and Bokusen-ji Temple before reaching the Keihan Sumizome Station.

It is especially beautiful during cherry blossom season, and again in autumn when the leaves begin to change.
